Abstract

Insects observed in sugar cana plantations in State of Alagoas-Brazil, during 1971.
The author shows a preliminary list of insects observed in the sugar cana plantations of the Alagoas State in Northwest area of Brazil, during 1971.
The list is composed of two parts: the first, Insects pests (34 species); and the second part, Natural enemies, Secundary parasites or Hiperparasites and Saprophagians (42 species).
The species showed here were identified in their rnajority by famous national and foreign taxonomists, to whom we express our thanks.
